The sunlight on cloud photo is a stunner, Pat.  image

There are 3 Fraxinus raywoodii in our local supermarket carpark.  It took me ages to find out what they were - I thought at first they must be sorbus, because of the gorgeous autumn colour.  Quite unlike anything else we normally see around here.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I'm glad you like them Liri. I often see street plantings of the Claret Ash alternated with the Golden Ash. They look terrific together when they colour up, but the Golden Ash go brown earlier that the Claret Ash, so you've got to see them at the moment of their best.image

ive put a few of the photos on the jigsaw site if you've got time, now that your daughter has gone home. It might take your mind off her going.

Just gorgeous, Scroggin, especially with the trees just bursting into leaf.  image  Our bluebells are only just coming out around here.
