  • Hello all,

On the train heading back home. Had a lovely time and been welcomed by our friends and all their family. Been a great experience seeing a different part of France, so different to our sleepy village. image

Have had a chance to read back quite a bit on the train, but forgotten quite whose done what.  image

Noticed Claro's major restoration project, didn't realise it was quite such a big project. Bon courage is all I can say.

So sorry to hear your news as well Punkdoc, such a sad waste of life. The news just seems to show worse stories everyday, terribly sad. image

Just a change of stations to negotiate via the metro in Paris and a search for some sustenance for the next leg and then hopefully a chance for a snooze. image

Hope to catch up better tomorrow although a pile of washing a few hours work to co tend with first. ?

DD....glad you and Charlie had a lovely few days away and saw your friends image.  It would also have given you some time to clear your head for a bit but back to the grindstone now.

    Hello, been reading back

Clari, omg. And you managed only water for a month? as we say up here "you must be made of girders" nice  you were shown appreciation at work!

Pdoc I can't begin to imagine how you must feel, Mrs P must be made of girders too!

DD  quite an achievement, and an enjoyable break, be proud!

    Pat how is HRH

Chicky, Lesley, Obelixx, and anyone else I have missed out ??

family just gone, trying to catch up and friend goes down like a stone again. Have spent over an hour this afternoon trying to convince her life is worth living  I fear I got nowhere. Sometimes I don't understand life's challenges

on a brighter note  I got a walk around the garden this afternoon  the new fruit cage is coming on a treat should be ready for January planting of bare root. The colours are amazing the acres seem particularly bright this yeara and still autumn rasps,  ever known a year like it. The rest of the apples the birds can have. Freezer crammedimage
