I have so many seeds to sow tomorrow!! Stuff to eat, stuff for the wildlife! Things for the cut flower area! I have a feeling I am going to fill the windowsills in the conservatory!!
Done a bit this weekend and some of it was constructive.
Weeded the stolen strip, had to abandon the metre or so nearest the pavement as people were letting their dogs trample it. Added some surplus linaria, a sedum and a shasta, nowt fancy. Removed all the daisies and put them in the garden as they look nice edging a path or border.
Made a lambs ear into a thousand smaller ears, for more edging in the front garden. Planted a new phlox in the front and did a bit of weeding.
Weeded the grass, ordered a lawnmower today, the smallest flymo I could find, the grass is only a patch that used to be a hen pen.
Searched in vain for actaea pink spike, don't know where I moved it. Some notes I wrote helpfully say 'move to blue persicaria'. Righto...
Tried to find a new position for a rock that had slipped during the winter almost on top of my white marsh marigold, meddle as I might, I couldn't get it looking natural. Looked really out of place so I've dumped it out the way. Planted an astilbe in its place.
Washed two bird feeders like a goody gumdrop and planned some daffodil manoeuvres.
I did today for the first time in 3 years hence my return to the forum! Feeling energised and content. only mowed the lawn and killed some weeds but enough to feel excited about fixing up the place.

Mulched some more roses and sowed some beetroot and chard outside.
Transplanted some more seedlings from modular trays to individual pots, prepared another quarter of the wild flower area and enjoyed the sunshine.

The floor in the conservatory is covered with seedlings and plants. Flowers, veg, chillies and salad leaves.
Logan, ha I have a little 4 tier grow house so if it gets bad or when I have potted things on then they will go in there!
I have something like that,a lean to, 2ftx5ft with removable shelves. Square pains of glass that can be removed to make room for tomatoe plants.
Logan, I have been known to take out the shelves of my grow house, to grow chilli's in, in the past!!
