  • You have done all that today Vishu - phew, that would take me almost a week, so not organized!

So far today I have weeded the driveway wall, pulling out ivy, agapanthus and brambles and many other weeds that have rooted in it.  Although I am sure that their roots are still firmly embedded in the wall waiting to grow again, therefore I will have to repeat the process in a few months time.

Raked up leaves in the driveway, difficult not to pick up the gravel with the leaves, but tried my best not to.

Enjoyed the sun on my face, listening to the birds singing and counting our blessings on such a mild, calm & sunny morning.

Guernsey donkey, it's not much........image planting bulbs and Dahlia saplings is one of my favorite part of winters.

Weeding and cleaning........i hate doing that!!!!! Am a procrastinator, big time!!

  • Cold and foggy here today , just spent the morning tidying up . Removing leaves from flower beds came across a Christmas gift left by a local cat , which bought a rapid halt to my efforts. Spent the next hour indoors telling OH what I think of our feline friends and ways of keeping them out of my garden . most of which she assures me would be illegal !

Actually I wouldn't really hurt them , I just find it annoying that they do this . image

  • Yum, Logan, can't beat roast parsnips! image

Just did the same and harvested parsnips, carrots (grown in polytunnel this year) and brussels for dinner. image

Lovely, bobthegardener. I like all those. Do you have trouble with caterpillars on sprouts?

  • I normally net all brassicas Logan but didn't this time and got away with it.  However, woodpigeons have eaten most of the tops over the last few weeks, so will be netting them again next year as I love brussel tops.
