Oh AWB, that is awful for your wife, you will have to rally around on Christmas morning - cooking perhaps? Let's hope that the rest will help her leg to heal. Thank you for asking - felt o.k. yesterday, so off I went outside to do this and that and now again I feel a bit fragile. Just hope I improve for the holidays then afterwards I can take a day off to rest up perhaps. I hate rest!
Work continues on bagging and moving the chippings.
ps Joyce, I am already a competent housekeeper, my wife was diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy 15 years ago and for the last 7 years I have been her carer.
Sorry to read of your OH health problems Joyce & AWB - you are two of the silent carers who keep the wheels in motion for those who need you most - I hope you were able to enjoy Christmas together and remember with fondness Christmases past in happier times.
No gardening for me today, but will try to get back into some sort of routine tomorrow. However we did have a little walk this morning.

I am sorry to report that I didn't. I'll be quite happy to do it on Christmas morning, I really don't like sitting indoors in the morning.
Ps GD, hope your getting your strength back.
bit chaotic here OH tripped up in the kitchen 4 weeks ago and broke her leg in two places.two weeks in hospital now 10 weeks bed rest.
AWB, ouch that sounds like a very nasty fall, hope she is not in too much pain ?? and manages to enjoy Christmas as much as she can. ?

Maybe more than one day off GD!!!
AWB - no doubt the enforced rest is proving very frustrating for your wife. You will be a competent housekeeper by the time she is mobile again
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

AWB - I'm very sorry to hear of your wife's illness. I am sure she is well looked after by you.
I'm a 24/7 carer for OH (Alzheimers) so appreciate that it's hard going keeping house and garden as well.
