  • Love him GWRS - he is a work of art, made with love.  Will he be alone or in a pack/herd?  I always think the hand/home made decorations are the best, they come from the heart.

A bit of lavender pruning today, a few more cyclamen planted in pots and a lot more stones moved. Potted up some dahlia seedlings and checked out the new fence that is being put up between us and the neighbours at their expense.

Went out to plant bulbs but found the smaller ones a bit dry looking so they're all now soaking overnight and will be planted tomorrow.  Sorted out some herbaceous perennials that will be better planted than left in pots and watered those too then watered all the pots outside and inside.

Got called away to practise our dance steps before class tonight!

The white one is my favourite ....... I had a yellow and a pink of the same deign but they couldn't survive the harsh, brutal summer........

Lovely flowers.  I really like the white chrysanths and the pinky purply ones.   Well done with those Minnows.

I have been planting things!  Need to get some perennials into my cleared bed under the silk tree before I can plant the bubs.  Almost did it the wrong way round.  Planted goodies include geranium phaeum, iris, sedum spectabile, a spirea, a surprise perennial (label lost) and some salvias including viscosa and africana lutea.   Still to plant are some more salvias, potentillas and maybe agapanthus and then I can slot in the bulbs which will include some daffs, botanical tulips, leucojum and crocuses.

  • went down this morning put brackets on posts for the 5x3  15ft 3no  to keep them of ground and 4x 12 fts might tie them to fence with wire and screw them also to posts  the brackets and metal slots will hold forty kilos so wire will be saver in case it snapped  with weight    image
