Dove, same here, lovely blue skies and sparkling sunshine just a nice temperature, not too hot. Bit more mobile today, gentle mooching about called for. Annoying as I have bulbs to plant and need to water the plants I moved before the back incident!
Sensible advise as ever Dove! Hubby won't let me strain myself anyway, he can be quite bossy and stern sometimes! still itching to get moving plants around to complete my master plan!
I've been digging out next door' s vinca from a badly neglected patch of my garden.
I've come across loads of old plant labels. They reminded me of gravestones, which I suppose they are, as the plants are long gone. On that happy note ....
Afternoon all, Had a busy few days looking after grandchildren, so not much gardening. Wallflower and Hollyhock seeds have germinated and are doing well so will be pricking them out soon. Will keep them in the greenhouse over winter and plant out in the spring.
Visited mum this morning and she seems in better spirits so that cheered me up a bit. Had a good week at weightwatchers, lost 4.5 lbs in my first full week so really pleased .
Well done Yvie. You must be feeling very chuffed. Keep up the good work.
No insect hunting here FB but I've had Possum on curtain duty - taking them down and removing hooks and she's had heebie-jeebies cos of the spiders. Doesn't like spiders in any shape or form. Much eeking.
Easy does it WW.
Warm and sunny and dry here. I need just one night of decent downpour please. Need to lift treasures on Monday so they can be planted up and packed.
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend.

I don't use the notifications, Pat. They've always been hit and miss.
Wasn't on here Hosta - tonight I think. I don't understand the giant veg thing anyway. Each to their own I suppose.
Sounds like a great property - views are what it's about I reckon. Mine is rubbish but at least I get to go and see the best views on earth.....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Just outside the back door. Sunshine streaming in
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I hope everybody has a fantastic Saturday!
Take it easy Wonky - bulbs will wait until next week and there's rain forecast for tomorrow so just a jug full of water per plant, not buckets full!!!

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.
Well I went out to take a few more photos of the insects. They are all on the ivy. The rest of the garden is deserted.
Time to clear out the tomatoes out of the greenhouse, and make space for overwintering stuff. Have a good day folks.
