Wow, just Wow, gorgeous johnny, it looks (dare I say it) very "English", is that where you are actually from? My hanging baskets are just about "done" this year about from the large double begonias, which were very slow, but am now pleased because at least I still have some baskets in flower.

Good morning , garden looks good JC

Raining ☔️ hear in Lincoln , should brighten up later in week , hopefully

  • What a beautiful, colourful garden you have JC, I find it hard to believe, that after all that freezing weather the garden can look so perfect.

Raining here now too, quite windy.  This is a shock to the system after so many calm and sunny days.  It's a pity that 3 cruise ships are planning to stop here today - not the best of days to be moored here.

    Finally we have sun image

Summer passed us by up north but we we had a good spring and usually enjoy a good autumn so hope this is the start of some decent weather.

  • Thanks all. Today there was no sun to see, the forest fire smoke has really blanketed the city. Very warm out, above 30C, have to keep the windows of my house closed to lessen the smoke and smell of it.

Hello Nanny Beach. No, I've visited England when I was a kid but I'm half Cree and half French. I take your comment on my garden looking English as high praise indeed. I'm in the habit of chopping my Petunias, in baskets and pots, down when they start looking leggy. A couple weeks later they are putting on another great showing until frost. Am really fighting aphid infestations right now. I really hate those little beggars.

Downpours here too Hosta.  Clear skies last night meant the temperature dropped to 6.3 - now reached the dizzy heights of 10.2....

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
