  • As above, it's a very nice day but everything is still very damp after 8 hours of steady drizzle yesterday.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • There is frost on the roof of my garage here in southern Alberta. More digging up tender bulbs and tubers today.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Looks like we all enjoyed a sunny day - 2nd. October and still wearing short sleeves.  Long may this fine weather last. A day out today but back to the gardening tomorrow.

I left to go walking at 6.40 - windscreen was frozen. It was a lot colder up on the hill, but it's October, so perfectly normal. The girls put the washing out for me once it warmed up a bit!

8 degrees when I got back at half seven - at night that is...  image

Chilly here again today - condensation on the windows too. Nice day coming but I'm back at work image

"Got no Mansion, Got no Yacht, still I'm happy with what I've got thats the Sun in the morning and the Moon at night and I'm all right". with apologies to the original song. Stockton has sunshine again and our hill is alive to the sound of  "lawn mowers" most of our locals employ grass cutters who seem to all come on Mondays, believe it there are acres of grass around here.

Condensation on our windows too. Only 3° this morning but the sky is blue.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
