  • Palaisglide and Joyce, you are so lucky to have sunshine - here we haven't seen it for almost a week.  We have low cloud, drizzle showers and fog.  The airport has been closed for 2 or 3 days due to poor visability.  However it is 12 degrees and plants are growing rapidly, and I want to garden yet it is far too wet to do anything substantial.

  • Mega sunshine here and -22C. Well I guess I can't have my cake and eat too, today anyways. They say 9C for Tuesday!

A lovely day with plenty of sunshine - forecast was 12-13 degrees but it felt warmer and it was the first T-shirt day of the year!

My garden and I live in South Wales.

It's such a beautiful evening here. I've just spent some time in the garden listening to the birds singing and enjoying the exquisite perfume of my Daphne (is the scent much stronger in the evening?). I've tried smelling it during the day and I wasn't impressed at all. But tonight I felt it as soon as I opened the door to the garden.

Only 10C max in the garden today, but lovely sunshine.  The thrush is still singing fit to bust...  image
