Hold on to your hat Busy, it's the same down here.

  • Luckily the strong winds seem to have abated for now, but it has been lashing down with rain this morning, but sunshine has been forecast for this afternoon.  Does that mean we will have a brief glimpse of the sun at 5 p.m.  ....hopefully earlier so I can get out and do stuff.

Sounds like you have a stormy day there Busy, hope it doesn't cause any damage around you.

So you are having sunshine Frank - it makes all the difference to a day doesn't it?

Lovely on the south coast this morning. Bright blue sunny sky and 14C showing on the car temp gauge.

Managed an hour out of the home office to take our new rescue down to the beach for the first time. He loved it.

  • Grey, wet and depressing in mid Cornwall, although the hooley wind has calmed down at present. Before the next belt moves in. Sodden underfoot but milder, no gardening today.
