Dry & cool at the moment heavy rain last night. Forecast not good for next 2 days

    AB Still learning

  • Surprisingly nice today.  The forecast was for some rain but as yet none has come although there have been some very dark clouds this morning.  No complaints, it is breezy, sunny and warm.

Rain and thunderstorms in the night, cool and windy now, with some sunshine.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

A beautiful, warm, sunny day here image

  • At the moment it is driving me insane! I have tons of work to do including building three 6' x 4' t planters and it hasn't stopped raining from 04:00 and is going to rain for the rest of the day and night.

Met Office said August and September are the wettest months of the year. Well fancy that! As if we didn't know!

The upside to the downside is I have enough water to fill everybody's butts.

Robert you don't say what part of the country you live in. Maybe it will be better for you tomorrow and in the meantime put your feet up and conserve your energy for later!  You seem to have lots of plans to  mull over ?

Similar to Robert, rain from the wee small hours, non-stop all day and set to continue all night and at least until lunchtime tomorrow (Leics.)  "A bit wet" in other words!

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Border of Lancs/Yorks Daisy. Have taken a nap and will have another nap followed by a cup of tea and another nap. A forced nap Is always good.
    Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
