Stockton, a slight frost and now fairly bright the temperature rising, the forecast says highs of 8C today so better get the sunglasses out. image

It was Hannah Hauxwell's Funeral in Barnard Castle yesterday, she had no family left but there was a huge crowd there. Her last thirty odd years were in comfort, she was in a home the last few and was 91, she was buried in Cotherston over looking the Dales she loved. A real Dales Lady.

  • After a gentle ground frost we have a beautiful sunny day here, virtually no wind - temperature must have been up in the teens in the sunshine - could be a cold night again though.
