Lovely sunny, cold morning here too in the Pennines (W.Yorks/Lancs border).
Hard to believe the Angel is 20, Frank! We lived in Northumberland when there was controversy about its construction... and remember it being given a Shearer shirt a few years later!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Lovely pics! I noticed the little bird house/table outside your house,it's great that you are feeding birds further away too, especially in that weather, not quite got your daffs up yet then????
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
We have a lovely sunny day here - a little light ground frost this morning but the sun soon warmed everything up - hardly any wind and very little cloud. I wonder if we will have another ground frost tonight.
Your pictures are lovely Johnny but for all the beauty of the snow I would still rather have this milder weather even though we seem to have had more than our fair share of wind and rain this winter.
Nice sunny morning and if the weather lady has it right the rest of the weekend just 10°C here at the moment and just the lightest of breeze we did have a light air frost earlier.

Hard frost here but bright & sunny so all good.
Frank yes the Angel is impressive enough driving past never been right underneath must be great.
Was a hard frost, but sunny now with light winds.
There's been a lot of snow here in Calgary. More on the way today.
My little house buried in snow last week.
I'm still out on my bike feeding birds.

Johnny , great pictures , do miss the snow ❄️ , had a dusting end of November and that’s it
I’m sure the birds ? appreciate the food
The birds that live in my Hawthorn Edges are not happy since I gave the Hawthorn Tree in the garden a major trim , it’s where I hang the bird feeders

A bit gloomy and damp here in the Pennines - but the birds are singing!
