GWRS, I would be glad to see the storms around actually arrive as this mugginess is horribe and a good storm might clear the air and---water the garden! We, in the north west usually get the rain before everyone else but that s not happening at the moment.

  • Dull with just a few hours of sunshine today.  On the whole the weather is unsettled and it may rain some more before the weather settles down into sunny days again.

Come back sun - a few hours of rain was all we wanted and we certainly got that yesterday BIG TIME.

Think we had all the rain down South - water was running down the road for a bit, and it was still raining most of morning, nice now

no rain here at all. Well, not enough to make me stop in the garden, nor put on a jacket.

Raining on and off here in Berks, whole family coming for BBQ on Saturday, taken six months to find a day for everyone and it looks like it will have be an indoor barbi, never mind we'll all be here.

Overnight rain (much needed!) just stopping now.  Dug some spuds up yesterday and the soil was dry all the way down to the tubers.

Rain is forecast from tonight until Monday, pretty much. Just topped the pond up a bit so water butts are empty, ready to receive.
