  • Frost line at the bottom of the garden is really prominent today. Sun has burned off the dusting of snow & frost elsewhere.

  • SUNSHINE!

The best day of the year so far here.  Glorious sunshine all day - at last, we have waited long enough for this.  The wind has veered from South west (rain) to northerly and although it is cooler the sun has really lifted our spirits.  Our prevailing wind is southerly which usually brings rain or at least cloud.  Today there are no clouds so we may have a frost tonight.  However it is such a lovely day outside that we feel rejuvenated.

Stockton on Tees, once Durham, then Teesside, then Borough of Stockton, then South Durham and Tees Valley?? Like the weather we do not know where we are. This morning I woke early as it was bright in the bedroom so singing "Spring is in the air" it was into the shower only to find it had all changed when i came out. (No I do not take that long nor does the weather). So now dull and possible rain although we do have a high of 6C image.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

  • Ice on the pond for the first time this winter - luckily one third has moving water so that part of the pond wasn't frozen over. Sunshine and blue sky with a little wind but very pleasant outside now.

  • Wales is wet, dark and cold this morning!
