Heavy drizzle and then heavy rain here at times, my friend and i went plant shopping and got thoroughly wet and bedraggled but came home with some lovely new plant friends ;)

  • Light drizzle in morning - then dull but dry, virtually no wind and not cold. Good for pond digging.

Looks damp and grey this morning, 6°, so warmer than a couple of days ago when there was a -3° frost.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Warmer here too BL. About 5 when I went out earlier, so much warmer than it's been for a while. Doubt it'll get much higher though. Grey and damp after the clear skies last night.

At least last night was calmer than Friday when it was a bit wet and wild.  No real damage though - just some pots blown about and a few small branches off shrubs and trees. Rare for us not to have had more of that by now.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

No idea of the temperature as I haven't unearthed my thermometers yet but it feels very mild and we have increasing pale blue bits, no rain and a good breeze.   Good for walkies and pottering outdoors once indoor jobs are done.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

The sun is out and sky is blue in Bury but the ground is soaked from yesterday's rain, 7c at the moment image

  • A beautiful day here - very little wind, dry and sunny from morn to dusk. No coats needed, and we have just enjoyed an afternoon outing to the beach and GC.

  • Lovely day here - some sunshine, no wind, mild and good gardening/clothes drying weather.
