Warm and humid here too. The sky is darkening, but no crackling on the radio yet - I wish the storm would just get on with it rather than keeping me awake tonight!
19d blue sky sun, says its going to be thundery and rain later. Tom what are your dahlias doing outside now, mine are growing in a pot in the greenhouse to go outside probably the first of June!
Unfortunately the ones caught by a little frost lost some leaves. But other than that they are perfectly happy outside. I had hardened them in a sheltered corner of the garden next to the house for about 2 weeks! Hopefully see some flowers soon
A few showers last night, (was raining a little at 1.30am) was really excited! Went down veg plot to direct sow some peas, made a channel 2 inches deep and guess what it was blooming dry! Tom, did they tell you they were perfectly happy outside!! Did you grow them from tubers this year?
A few showers, but nothing substantial and only surface damp soil like you Nanny Beach. The forecast now is for dry weather for the next few days at least.
Just got back from Spain to find my garden overgrown. I love it like this as it has a magical feel to it with all the birds and other wildlife undisturbed. I have had to weed the veggie patch though in spite of the dry conditions. Don't worry folks, now we are back there will be plenty of rain ?
Bit of rain overnight not a lot but enough that I won't need to water this weekend. Bit cloudy now but the sun is trying its best to peak out so looks like a nice afternoon for planting out some of the stuff in the greenhouse.
To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.

Warmest day yet for us GD. May get rain overnight tomorrow and Saturday morning. I have hosed the garden in case it's just light showers.

Beautiful morning, bit breezy and fresher. Drop of rain overnight, not enough to do any good. ?
