    Bright sunshine has given way to find drizzle here in Norfolk ... but no trickling sound from the water butts filling yet ... 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Dove, Snap, same here in Stockton on Tees though still quite warm. "Oh" well stay inside and sort all the wedding photo's on the computer, busy enhancing cutting and sorting, wonderful tools these mac Books.

    It's still raining here in the Pennines... it should really be doing the garden some good now.  image

    Rain overnight but dry and windy now.

    The garden has had sufficient rain for now.

    Stockton, long sleeves back on as it is cooler, rain during the night. The Peony's have really shot up and are now in bud waiting to open just as the wind storms arrive, get the stakes in lad, stop idling about, as Dad would have said.

    horrendous! very windy as well as rainy, woke up to find 3 stems of my ispahan rose touching the ground, ran out at 630 am in pouring rain in my jamas to tie it up! V fed up, put toms back in gh, courgettes will either make it or not, sowed 2 new spares last week just in case

    East Anglians - get yer buckets out image. Not making promises, but the forecast is beginning to look like you may get a proper rain dump on Wednesday, so catch it while you can image
