  • A fairly sunny morning then the sky darken and BOOM - a couple of hours of thunder, lightening and torrential rain which filled the water butts but flattened some of the more delicate plants too. Some flooding in the roads.

    Cloudy this morning in Norfolk, then around lunch time the sun came out and it was lovely.

     It's just gone through us in Southampton as it makes its way northwards. Very, err, wet!

    about 3 spots of rain, need some, although VERY nervous about new conservatory roof! OH, put up shed at weekend, but no roof, so we have rested it on, and tarped it just in case! Hot yesterday and today 27d but nice breeze.

    Thunder just started and its poring it down. Still must be one of the driest years that I can remember.

    Thunder, lightning, short shower.  Infuriating really.  13 months of drought now and I want a proper downpour or three.  Please.

    Was such a beautiful morning with the sun till lot later was trying to pack up at allotment got rather wet with the thunder and lightening going on - gone past made a lot of lake areas - pond should of filled up a bit

    Lots of lightening all eve then thunder in night but little rain- better than nothing I suppose but theses muggy conditions are perfect for Blight!
