  • Zenjeff, Wideopen, memories of running into Killingworth almost daily. The ham has to be home cooked with the pease pudding cooked in the liquid to Mum's old recipe handed down from old Aunts from Prudhoe plus how to make the Stottie or bottom oven bread as she called it. Now it is all Gregg's, what happened to the taste I ask. Cannot believe the still clear sky and sunshine.

    Frank.

  • You had FROST pansyface? Where are you.All green and pleasant here near South Downs, was chilly first off, 10g, very soon warmed up dogs on the beach at 8, t-shirts shorts.20d now in the shade

  • We had a heavy dew, but with the breeze and sunshine the grass soon dried off. Been a lovely sunny day, good for the beach today. Certainly made up for yesterday's abysmal weather (well it drizzled and was damp)

Fine with lovely sunny spells today. I am in a 'make-the-most-of-it' mood as have some time off work so want to finish some garden jobs plus enjoy spending time in it. It was shorts and sun-cream earlier, but this evening is PJs, a hearty casserole and the first night with patio doors closed by 8pm.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
