Ah aym, ever the optimist. Don't put all your faith in the forecast, it never runs to the timetable image (or maybe that just applies to me on laundry day)

  • "Oh me oh my"  Rain from waking this morning until now and looks set for the rest of the night. The clouds rush from the Atlantic across P.P's. lake over the Pennines and stop as they hit our coastal front off the North Sea. Any one watching the weather map this year must think it follows rail lines straight to us. Global warming??? what happened to summer.

    Frank.

  • It has been overcast for most of the day, but still T shirt warm. However right now it is tipping it down with rain - so why did I waste almost an hour watering all the pots and tubs earlier this evening? That will be more ruined petunias to dead head tomorrow.

Have had some fine weather here in Norfolk but this afternoon it rained. We decided to go out for a walk image

Just home after the garden 'festival' ... the rain was awful but we had a great time thanks to gazebo plus 'refreshments'. Some have camped over in the garden!! At least when they wake up (hungover and aching) the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow!

Enjoy holiday scroggin - I am not far from Brecon - Tues onwards supposed to be particularly good weather :-)

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Rain all night a pond where no pond ever existed still raining though not quite as heavy, I ask what has Stockton done to upset the Deity, cannot get on my knees they creak a bit but the person doing the Rain Dance please stop.

  • It's Joanne Clifton! image

10% sun 90% showers here. Too wet underfoot to do anything useful so might do a bit more sweeping and cleaning. My right shoulder is sweeped into a hump! image

  • P.P. if this keeps up you may need a few humps as life preservers as we vanish into the Great lake the UK will become. I am just over 100 feet above Sea Level here, it usually all goes down hill, now I am beginning to worry.

  • The good news is that it hasn't rained all morning. So dare we attempt to go out for a walk this afternoon....?
