@Palaisglide do you log out?  I don't log out and it's alright. The old one used to do that.

Logan4, I had great difficulty logging on to the new board so do not log out.
I click on the icon and it always worked although now I click on and at first get, "Sorry this page is not available" so I move away and then come back. After several rests then retries it suddenly works. I am on an Apple Mac book laptop and wonder if there is a problem with that.
    Thanks for getting in touch.

@Palaisglide it could be your laptop, i use Firefox and I had bad connection, it could be that. Don't know much about computers, I'm just guessing.

Frank, when you click on an emoji it appears as a number of symbols, eg the smiley face  :)  just appears as a colon and a bracket when I type it, but when you post it comes out right.  Is that what you mean?
Have you contacted Nora with your problems?  She's helped a lot of people, I think.

It's 10C here too, but windy.  Need to get wet leaves off the lawn and paths (again...)

Liriodendron. That is correct it comes up as B( I wipe it off so do not know if it comes up normally when posted,
I have been all round the site and cannot see how you contact the Staff, it is a learning curve.

Frank, why not try posting some emojis here and see if they come out all right?
There's a thread entitled "Welcome to the new forum" which was started by @NoraGW who is monitoring problems.  I'm sure she'll be able to help!  You could send her a personal message if you can't find the thread.  Let us know if you need us to flag up your problems to her.   :)

Hi Frank, the emojis in the text editor will show as numbers and symbols when you click them, but they'll post as emojis. To contact the gardenersworld.com team, click Contact us, on the footer of every page.

Nora, Thank you. My fault, the page comes up with "This page cannot be found" although at the top the green line comes up with discussions written on it, click on that and I get the page, "Memo" to me read whole page in future ! Did not read the bottom of the page either, a whole row to go at there.
