Wet and dreary here in Cheshire but not too cold. The roaring log fire sounds good Clarice. I am going to my daughter's this afternoon and she has just informef me on the phone that her boiler has broken.
Do hope she gets it fixed for Christmas otherwise all the goodies and family will have to decamp to my house!
Dull and dismal for most of the day, and then some drizzly rain. Supposed to get cold tonight with the chance of a ground frost.
My OH said Barbara is visiting on Friday/Saturday - oh no, not "the" other woman I thought - but no, apparently a storm named Barbara will be battering our island in a day or two. I just hope that Santa doesn't get blown off course on his way here.
Bright and sunny here in Cheshire. Barbara yet to arrive! But I'm sure she will. Oh well all my shopping done. The shops all crowded and stressy. So glad my daughter is doing Christmas and her boiler is fixed. Hurray!
We have been getting above freezing for the past few days. Todays high will be +6 and the snow is fast disappearing. Good news is we will have snow falling all day on the 24th. We love our white Christmas here. However several years ago we were at +20C for Christmas.
