We are here in Worcestshire for a few days visiting our son and his wife and so far we have been very lucky with the weather. Light cloud and some sun which is fine for our visits to gardens.

I have curtains! Its taken best part of two years but they are up and guess what, no sun. All those days of shading the living room with duvet covers and sheets and now its cloudy. Actually really pleased as I love my new curtains and very happy with current temperature.

Another day and yet more heavy rain, is summer ever going to start up here?

Once again a balmy 22C, I just love this. Started to spit with fine rain a few minutes ago but I'm crossing my fingers and waiting for garden helpers (daughter and grandson) hoping we can get most jobs done. I can't lift big pots by myself and need someone to go to the tip as I have no car so please don't rain any harder...........................

Damp & drizzly here not what was forecast.

    AB Still learning

  • After a dull morning (not cold or too windy), the day has turned out to be beautiful and great for sitting outside - we do need rain, but the water butts are still half full so no complaints here.
