Stockton. louring clouds, dark as night, lights on. It is persistantly pouring down with rain. If this was snow it would be worse than 1947. Nothing showing in the garden the bulbs have more sense than poke a head up before April.

    Just heard a bird coughing.

We have had some snow flurries this morning but not even left a coat of white to show for it. I wonder if they changed their mind and put the roof on the stadium for the Wales : England match later?...

My garden and I live in South Wales.

  • Dull with some short hail showers, luckily the wind isn't too strong yet and it's not freezing either. It must have been a lovely walk in the fields scroggin.

  • At last!  A bit of calm, sunny, mild and ideal for gardening - but my back can only cope with an hour or two at a time, so frustrating.

A very cold wind all day here. I tested my new pruning saw on the Buddleia and retreated back indoors.
