    Amy. ........

    Those are not bargainsimage

That's stealing.......... Everything is dirt cheap!!!

I am willing to pay as much as 5£ for one large daffodil bulb or a tulip bulb.....image

You are soooooo lucky........ Only thing we get for 10p is a Dahlia sapling. ........

Thanks a lot for sharing the picsimage

Looks like you had a very interesting day

  • Hi, Aym,

yes. I have been looking in for a few weeks but decided to have a go last night, it was great fun and a good laugh...? You should jump over as we had a laugh and all ladies were very nice?. I went to bed, after an hot bath early as didn't feel too well so apologies for just reading your message. ?

  • As for thread 3 Aym, I actually think there on to thread 4 shortly...?

Of course, Amy........ I understand that....iwas just jesting. I have rescued a few plants over the years, too...,.image we too use polyester trays. Moving them around is much easier......... And afternoon sun is brutal. It kills a lot of sprouts....... So we use polyester trays to grow seedlings and when they have sufficiently developed root system, we transplant them to where we need. We get them from nurseries for free.

Indeed... There is too much waste being produced......strict laws are needed. I have stopped buying plastic pots...... I buy used ones in bulk from nurseries for this very reason....

Vishu: Saw Planet II city yesterday and saw Jaipur. It's so built up and it's amazing how many animals there are around. They are so well treated as they were revered as god. Amazing how people were conditioned to worship or hate something which is totally neutral.  They macaques are lucky as they are well treated. Very enjoyable TV.

Glad you like it image Yes, we have lots of animals since the majority population is vegetarian (70% of population of Rajasthan is vegetarian). And animal life is considered precious.

Macaques and langurs are very common, especially in and around ancient temples, forts, havelis and ruins.

In our previous home, we had a very huge old wild mango tree and macaques and langurs visited regularly........they often used to pluck my carnation blooms and eat them......

Btw, some really good luck i had......!!!  I found hyacinth bulbs online...... For approximately 3.50£ for 5 bulbs........ Just placed order for 3 sets...... So Happy!!!image
