Off to work again for me.

The bindweed might have swallowed the house while I am out. It has already got everything within ten feet of a hedgeline.

Dove, Chionadoxa make a lovely splash of colour.

Bushman, hope you are successful in finding somewhere.

Morning all/afties Pat. I've protected my strawbs from the birds but pick them unripe to beat the slugs...image

    Yes - the oil rig....image

Bushman....not much I can say. It's pretty miserable. Big hug from little fairy x

They should be good Dove - so many to choose from though isn't there? Some of the little reticulata irises as well perhaps? I'd like more bulbs too - good to get some extra variety in small spaces with their lovely verticals. Will have to check if the finances allow though...image

Liri- have you got one of those litter pickers for retrieving MrToad?  Or perhaps a small child...image

I see Tom and his budgie smugglers did well  image  I stayed up and watched the gymnastics instead.....image

Better get ready and get to work. Have a good day everyone  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Fairy, not vertical, but inexpensive, Anenome Blanda.  I have them in pots which have permanent plants in them.

I must have missed why Bushman is flat hunting. don't answer if it's private, but best wishes and hugs from me anyway.

i feel quite chuffed at getting more of the strawberry tubs cleaned and outside.  I now have lots of space in the GH for Spring seedlings when I start in September/October. image

My jonquils are from a variety of places, some of which are from my late Mum's garden in Ulladulla. She died in 1985, so they've been around a bit since then - first to Canberra, then Melbourne, then here in the mountains. They just appear every year.

Chicky, I've been thinking of you the last couple of days because I've been watching YouTube about colouring books. My current favourite demonstrator is an Australian woman called Peta Hewitt. She reviews various colouring books as well as discussing the types of pencils or pens etc. very interesting. I've got all keen again. image
