I love Gardeners World but agree with Obelixx last time I saw it there was a flower arranging bit and before that I saw a how to make pest, change is meant to be good for us so I will keep an open mind
I get more fact from Beechgrove which is suitable for us in the north
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Sorry LP - didn't see your post this morning - I left for work. The thriller is quite moody and dark, but an awful lot of red herrings. Can't make up my mind about it. I'm struggling to keep track of the various people. Perhaps I'm just getting old....
Doggie bix look quite good...
Not sure about GW either. Don't care for that girl doing the 'testing'. Probably just me though. Proper explanations are vital for young folk just starting out, so I hope they address that well. Will reserve judgement.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I've been trying to sort my iPhone out - it was misbehaving - thought I was going to have to call on your Lovely Hub Wonky - but fortunately your brother came to the rescue - apparently it needed a Hard Reboot, and I gave it one
And I've been weeding, shouting at slugs who've laid eggs in the damp lawn edges, picking spinach and beans, and cutting a bunch of dahlias.
We'll see you at Helmingham on the 18th Wonky - is your Genesis garden furniture going to have a stall? Think they should They should give them one for free as they a charity.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
That looks like a good day out Wonky. Shame I'm too far away. Make sure you're in the first 800 for the free plants.
It IS quiet Lizzie. I've been trying to sort out the big cupboard in the utility room which was getting dangerous as if you moved one thing something else would fall down/over. I blame OH. Obelixx it' bad enough doing that. Heaven knows how you're managing to sort a whole house (and garden). Many kudos coming your way.
Hope you've enjoyed your rice Lizzie. Did you have anything with it?

Morning all. Having a quiet day as been so busy since we arrived in England.
Good idea B Lizzie. I bet the garden is starting to look good.
Where is everyone? It's hours since anyone posted. This thread used to be so chatty.
Cooking dinner, just waiting for water to simmer for the rice. Thought I'd pop in.
Evening folks! morning Pat, are we having a sponsored silence?
Anyway not sure if any Eastanglians are interested but here's a link if anyone fancies a jaunt!

Haven't quite caught up on here either!

Evening all.
It's getting dark already and there's a cool breeze.
I noticed the brambles in the hedgerows were ripening when I was out today.
Autumn tomorrow.

All the hawthorns round here are covered in berries Joyce. Not too warm today either - about fifteen at best and windy with heavy showers
Does that mean you kicked it very hard Dove?
