It's been wattered down a wee bit on it's way across the North Channel. image Still incomprehensible to most which is the main thing. image

What about "skin a fairy"...is that one of your's too or did we come up with that on our own?

Morning all image two days of summer and now rain again image just like you pp though less windy but at least your grass is cut image

Pat, I trust you will feel better soon. Wise of you to have had symptoms checked.

LP,  You have your own excellent flower show image Hope it's not too long 'til you see family again. Enjoy having your visitors.

Fairy, a weekend in Mull is called for and you may get some eagle photos too image if you raise your eyes skywards.

Part 2 of the Pilgrim's Way left me yearning to be young and fit again.

T'bird, I think your OH would enjoy a bit of walking/camping in some of the areas shown.

On a similar note  - DOVE - we might enjoy a programme on BBC2 tonight at 6.30 - Blitz Cities. Tonight is about the WW2 air raids on Norwich.

Cheers Topbird - we used to live just round the corner from the old St Augustine's swimming pool (now closed due to asbestos) - It was built on an area which was  bombed.  Most houses around there had some cracks in the walls imageimage

    Get well soon Pat ((hugs))

Joyce what do you mean two days? One of those must have been for me! Givusitback!

I went to town yesterday and it was pouring. Everyone was in hats and coats except me. It wasn't cold. Why would you wear a coat when it's not cold? I looked like a tourist! image

     Ditto PP.

Went to the SM late morning - everyone else seemed to be donning full waterproofs to walk from the car to the shop. It was wet but it was warm - not unlike a rather good spa session involving sauna and steam room image

I was tough - no coat - no umbrella - didn't dissolve image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

No umbrella is a bit too much for me! I refer the right honourable poster to the Crystal Tips/Freddie Boswell thread of some time ago! image
My mum looks out the window and decides whether it looks cold or not. It's the only explanation I can come up with. It looks cold, I need a coat. It's 23°!!! image
Yeah? Well brace yourself Joyce cos you want to see what's coming now! image
