Hi everyone. I've been out in the sun all day, today. Makes a big change from the last few weeks.
Dug up a couple of Acacia boormanii which had self seeded, same for a clump of Oregano which appeared in the veggie bed that I've got ear-marked for tomatoes this spring, washed cat and dog blankets and mended the one that HRH had dug into shape with her toes and split the seam , carried more wood in for the fire, collected armfuls of eucalyptus branchlets that had snapped off in the wind and put them in the trailer for Hubby to take to the tip tomorrow, took cuttings from a white carnation. The GH is getting a bit full with all the new pots, but it gives me a good feeling to get some jobs done. Long overdue.
Hi Daisy. The dead branch tips are nearly all leaf and sticks, so would probably make too much flame, but your idea is sound. That Verdun has lots to answer for, doesn't he? Getting you all addicted to our Costa and team.
Costa is my fave, he's like a big teddy bear. The rather demure lady (can't remember her name) makes me laugh, she looks like she couldn't lift a trowel but gets stuck into a wild garden like a whirling dervish.
Not sure if you mean Jane Edmondson from Victoria or the South Australian one - having a senior moment here and can't think of her name (although I've been watching her for years). As Hosta would say, tsk!
My favourite is young Tino Carnavale from Hobart. Their temp is closest to ours, so it makes more sense to watch him. The guys from Perth, Brisbane and Sydney are also-rans for me. They're OK, but I can't grow here what they grow there.
Sorry Pat, where do you live? (new here) My geography is no so hot either. The demure lady is from a cool area, or at least it is cool from the episodes I watched. I have more to see so I'll get back to you. Yeah Tino seems like a really laid back guy, he was talking about is career and family history in the latest episode.

Morning all, afternoon Pat - you've been busy. Can you not burn the eucalyptus wood, lovely smell I would think?. Or maybe it would spit too much?
Been watching Gardening Australia, totally addicted now even though I don't recognise 75% of the plants!
Have a g'day everyone.

Hi all, keep meaning to ask and this seems to be the place to do it. What does the emoticon
mean?

I take that one to have a halo. I could be wrong though.

Morning all
Pat, a pleasant change for you to have a day in the sun at this time of year,
The sun is still making up it's mind here but think it will appear.
Oh, a halo? I thought it was a ferreting cap!
