Joyce - it's been really poor all day here. Just shows how local it can be. Forecast was better for Sunday, but it's now telling me tomorrow is looking good for the Mamores. Doing the two most easterly ones, so I've been getting my route maps all ready.
Show jumping's on now though and I had to pause it to get dinner on. Think Mr Skelton is doing us proud though...
Was it just the one obscenity then?
obelixx- when I think of all the horses and ponies I've broken and had tussles with etc, it seems ridiculous that using a ruddy machine has done for me!
I decided to go for it and had a cerise and orange bathroom some years back. It certainly warmed it up!
Think I've got off lightly with my girls really. They're both quite quiet!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
He can't be Fairy - he's nearly as old as me!!! I've been watching him since then too - I remember him winning the Puissance at Olympia when he was n'owt but a lad ... beating his boss |Harvey Smith into the bargain if I'm not mistaken. I'm such a fan!!! Large celebratory G & T being taken here
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
When he worked/rode for the Edgars back in the day, I knew someone who had also worked for them. You may recall they had a daughter, Marie, who was a top jockey too, and they were sponsored by Everest. This friend told us the nickname the other competitors had for her, as she was 'less than sylph-like'.
Everest Buffalo....
His Puissance record's never been beaten. He was about 21 or 22 I think when he did it.
The r***y coverage changed to the other channel, so I've missed the end! Have to watch on the catch up thingy now. Grrr!

My memory is too dodgy to even remember! Just been reading up on Wikipaedia. I'm 6 years older than Nick. One thing I did remember was that he broke his neck and recovered. He was almost crying when he got his medal.
Have been making salads and marinades. People keep ringing up and saying can they come or they can't come after all. I asked for people to let me know before I did the shopping. Was 32 last night, then 39, now 37.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Fairy, I muttered an obscenity as we passed
No hills for you tomorrow given the forecast
We got off lightly today with very light drizzle and had a burst of late afternoon sunshine
Liri, I hope you get across tonight and that the sun will return for your holiday.
BL, may the sun shine for tomorrow's BBQ .
Ha Ha Joyce so did we but wait till you see what you're getting in an hour or so. There's a wee shower with your name on it!!!

Fairy, you can always nip down to Kinlochleven to the indoor climbing wall
Yes, just the one word which describes Trump!
Cracked ribs , many years ago , I once tripped in shower and cracked ribs , silly thing to do but accidents happen
Joyce - I can think of more than one quite easily.....
Can't believe the jumping - hurray for Nick! Been watching him since he was a teenager. He's the same age as me
