    Love that photo Clari.

You are all making me nervous with your chat about fires! Stop it!image

I'm trying to get the incentive to get up, but there isnt any pressing reason why we should. Hubby is reading the morning papers on his iPad, HRH is still asleep, and I've been reading back on everyone's chatting. I'm not sure if it's worth doing some washing because they've been predicting a super bad cold front for two days. Haven't seen any clouds yet though.image

    sleep well.

    Gorgeous photo Clariimage

Thanks for all the kind words for littlest Chicklet - she seemed to have picked up by yesterday evening - still can't speak, but managed medicinal icecream and the celebratory cake that Mr C brought home. She's not one for emotional outbursts (leaves that to her Mum and older sister, who do enough outbursting for the whole householdimage) .....but I think she was pretty pleased with her resultsimage

Ouch to strained ribsimage - heavy lifting should be off the agenda for a bit .....you'll have to use your wand instead.

Rain here for the next couple of days - much needed.  Shame we couldn't have it without the forecast galesimage

Popped to Wyevale yesterday and agree with others - have never seen such a sorry collection of plants.  Never seen it like that before .....what is going on?

A fine morning here in Norfolk image Rain is due this evening and stormy winds tomorrow. We need the rain but could do without the wind!

I picked up the 6ft 7inch princess and his chum just before midnight.

He chundered until well past 04:00. (I've not seen him this drunk since university).

My alarm went off a 06:00 (he's still snoozing but has forced a mug of tea down).

I get the feeling that I'll be getting a call to pick him up from work early! (Not letting him drive even if he feels fine).

If anyone could just follow me around with piping hot tea I'd be grateful!

Morning all/afties Pat. Stay warm if that cold front's coming in  image

Lovely photo Clari - you should put that on the camera thread. I hope you've been making a lot of noise getting ready this morning....image

The ribs on the other side have just recovered after five or six weeks. It's a new machine at work, which is a bit hit and miss. The handle requires a bit of effort as I'm a bit short to be in the right position to use it, and it catches me in a very awkward place.... image

Awake just at the right time to see Jade Jones win - haven't a clue how Taekwondo works but it doesn't matter! Usain Bolt did his thing again.  Fabulous, but so sad for the British lad missing out by 3 thousandths of a second...image

Medal tally is amazing - the Brownlees brothers are just superb  image

Anyway - work beckons - at least it's Friday  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all.

Woke up to a very strange coloured sky, hard to describe, red and black, looked like something bad is going to happen!

SM done, only person in the store, love it, but a bit sad that my days revolve around how easy the shopping will be.

    Waiting for the storm.

    Have a good day.

Morning all, Absolutely throwing it down hereimage.  Garden really needs it and after my two days out and about in the sun I'm not too disappointed that it's raining.

Off to get my eyebrows tamed this morning and then this afternoon I'll be making a trip to Merry Hell to stock up on sun cream for my holiday.  Off to Kefalonia for a couple of weeks on Tuesday.  Hope the garden will be OK.  Don't have a reliable undergardener unfortunately so it has to pretty much take care of itself.

Beautiful photo Clari. Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all.

Enjoy Kefalonia Yvie. We had a lovely holiday there a few years back. That's where my Ricinus seeds came from. Next to our appartment was an allotment and even though we had language problems, it was incredible how much we could still chat about growing stuff, watering problems, dealing with gluts etc etc.

Raining hard and very blowy. Polytunnel tidy up here we come.

    Devon.

Morning all, dour but warm morning. Dove i well remember the stubble burning but when you think about it you suddenly think HOW many years ago was that? image

Fairy watch the ribs perhaps your work should carry out some risk assessment on your new machine. The flat is coming along slowly but have managed to borrowed a small 19" telly but at least i can watch the Olympics.
