I was surprised that so many decided to make comments about Chelsy, but pretended they had not seen the groom wiping tears off his face frequently.

But the show was very enjoyable and the bride was sweet and demure, gently reminding hubby about the performance of "the kiss" on the church steps and not even forgetting to say "thank you" when he obliged.  Perfect.

I didn't watch the wedding, but Harry does seem - well sort of normal.
I will be interested to see if the latest royal wedding involves another toilet seat head dress. Or has her wedding been and gone and I missed it?

    B3, please refresh my memory!

Perhaps I can...reassure you, you haven't missed anything yet.  I think!

Yes, I would agree about Harry's normality but something's happened to the chap since Meghan has come on the scene.  He seems to've lost his sparkle??

B3, your post did make me giggle, not only the "toilet seat headdress" but missing THE wedding too!

Like you, Sam, I did notice the kiss reminder and the thank you; but I don't think I heard anyone on the box commenting on the latter, though they made all sorts of other comments.

I didn't watch it live but I did record it.  I felt it was odd that the bride entered the church alone whilst her mother was sitting in church alone!  However, it was, indisputably, quite a performance.

I won't forget all those talking heads, waiting inside the church, and the camera focusing on Chelsy, who looked, indeed, as if she was thinking, I need the loo and now it's too late...

Ah, royal weddings!  At times of austerity, we all need to be reminded there's money and police aplenty for some.

  • I watched the BBC news earlier today and heard the chap reporting on the incident in France, where a bloke slapped a  woman, say that the thug was sentenced to 6 months jail and fined 6 thousand DOLLARS.
I had no idea France'd changed its currency! ;)
