I bent the lockdown rules a bit today as I had to kill an hour between jobs and decided to have a quick walk along a quiet bit of river I know not many people go to. I was crouched by the river bank watching the dippers when a fox casually strolled down the beach on the far bank less than ten metres away. I'm not sure which of us was more surprised to see the other.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
There was a famous group of swimming pigs in the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. They would swim out to tourist boats to get treats. Unfortunately tourists began scattering small treats on the beach which killed some of the pigs as they ingested a lot of sand when retrieving the treats.
They like to swim @Fire! During the various lockdowns there has been more and more wildlife in spaces previously full of humans. There have been photos of deer in the streets in Metz, goats rampaging thru suburbs, wild boar swimming, roe deer on beaches and so on and so forth and last spring, when the first lockdown ended, visitors to beaches were asked to be very careful and keep dogs on leads because there were so many more waders nesting on the beaches which had been human free zones over Easter.

Dogs love to swim just for the hell of it so why not wild boar.
Later on someone spotted a roe deer frolicking on the same beach at low tide.
