He seems to want to be a camel. Any ideas?
There seems to be a growth on the "tail" and the "neck".
Grey Dagger moth, perhaps
?
And yes, they say you shouldn't pick up hairy caterpillars, but I survived the encounter.

A local sparrowhawk with a bird in hand from today. Maybe a pigeon, buy the claw size?

Any ideas on what spidey this might be? Very handsome. From our local gardening group. Do we think
Araneous marmoreus
(pumpkin spider or halloween spider / mottled orb weaver spider)?
Thanks

Can't beat a hedgehog. I would trade my frogs, foxes, newts, cats, bats and dogs for a hedgehog.
