Lovely H.hog. He/she will certainly be enjoying the sunny weather  :)
Loads of little orange tip b'flies round here too, and some torties too.

Love hares too. Lots on the hills up here, and gorgeous when they have their winter coats, although very  difficult to get photos, unfortunately. This was a few years ago
I love bees and butterflies and my whole border has been changed to suit them. Out have gone plants of little or no value and in have come in a wide range of pollination plants. I bought 5 of the large buddleia and 3 buddleia buzz for pot. Had a female orange tip a while back but never any males

That's gorgeous Sheps. You could almost believe he had a little leather jacket on. It's so textured  :)
    Great little insects.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

A couple of recent night visitors caught on trailcam:
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Wonderful pictures Bob, you are so lucky to have these nighttime visitors, the water bowl is a popular stopping off haunt for them.

I was weeding the base of a mahonia today while a young blackbird was in the bush eating the berries. It was so close I could have touched it but it wasn't bothered by me at all.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
