What a fantastic picture Alan Clark, they are exquisite aren't they?   We have some at the full stop stage in their development, I keep checking that they are still there and hope that a bird doesn't decide they would make a tasty meal.

Lovely H.hog. He/she will certainly be enjoying the sunny weather  :)
Loads of little orange tip b'flies round here too, and some torties too.

Love hares too. Lots on the hills up here, and gorgeous when they have their winter coats, although very  difficult to get photos, unfortunately. This was a few years ago

That hare seems to be scowling "bloody global warming".
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

As those who have seen my posts will know we have just finished a new raised veg area with trellis. As I was planting French beans under the trellis,  I wondered why there was so many small twigs on the bed. Looking up I found this.

"Build it and they will come" 🙂

It was a zoomed pic, so not as clear as I would have liked. They tend to skedaddle just when you think they might sit still for a few more seconds...
There had been a sudden warm spell at that time too [March]  so they were all a bit vulnerable still in their winter coats.
That's great, purplerallim. I hope the bean planting doesn't worry them too much.
I have a conifer at the end of the garden, and they often have a recce at nesting time, but they don't seem to have got beyond starting nests in it.

I've just spotted Alan's spiderlings. That's brilliant. Fantastic photo  :)
I remember having a little gathering of them in a shrub near my back door in a previous garden. My girls were fascinated at the sight of them  :)

No shes back on the nest @Fairygirl . Luckily the watering system is up and running and the water butt is nearly empty so won't be disturbing her too much.

A nightingale flew right across the woodland path in front of me this morning, so rare to actually see them up close, but we seem to have had population explosion this year. The cacophony of song is incredible.

Saw my first young bird casualty yesterday a baby magpie. I know they are a predator but it's still sad to see
