Thank @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool … not sure how he got onto the landing … unless he was in the clean sheets I brought in from the garden washing line yesterday afternoon.  He’s back in the garden now 😊 Glad OH spotted him.

We had a big bush cricket in the bedroom last night, it landed in my hair to begin with, I didn't realise  what it was at first, it certainly gave me a shock, I'm surprised it didn't bite when I brushed it off. It's safely outside now!

Maybe the big bedroom bush needs a trim if it's attracting insects :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

The green woodpeckers were back this morning but a pesky squirrel starttled them and they flew off and they didn't return.

There was a loud bang on son’s east facing bedroom window early this morning (it didn’t wake him but we heard it two rooms away 😂)

When he opened the blind, on the glass was a perfect ‘powder print’ of a pigeon with both wings outstretched.

Later on, when I was hanging the washing out I saw a rather dazed looking young woodpigeon sitting on the log pile in the ‘wilderness’ behind the pond ….

    Hope he’s feeling better soon.

I call them dust angels @Dovefromabove 😁 at least it was still alive, so many birds hit my windows but not all survive. 😢
