Oh wow what an amazing picture! I had blackbirds nesting in my Camellia last year and I could see the nest but not inside it.  I’d never be able to stop watching them!

Birds are only just nesting here, but the blue tits were finding my string very attractive earlier this month

@wild edges - dreadful effort. You really must try harder.... :D
That's a beauty- do you ever get yours printed and get them on the walls?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We’ve been watching a very handsome starling, glossy and speckled, stripping leaves from our rosemary bush and taking them back to his nest in NDN’s roof ...

But I don’t think this is part of the courtship goings on ... nest building took place a good while back .,, I think the nest is probably home to several bugs and mites by now, as the space under the tiles warms up.
If bluetits use aromatics to deter ‘bedbugs’ why not starlings too?

Bit unconventional but thought I'd share this because it made me smile.

A blackbird loitering near the bird feeding area at the garden centre today!

He was even following the one way system after a fashion.

Talk about following one way systems brings to mind a programme I saw which found out that pigeons use roads to navigate. So I guess Cambridge to London might be down the M11?😊🥴
