    Hi all.

Decided to get up this morning, might not sound much, but definite progress. Apparently I have missed summer.

Hope all are well, and hope to be posting more in the near future.

Good morning Pdoc - good to see you image

I have to go out today, so as you're up would you mind keeping any eye on the washing on my line ... just a risk of rain later and there's a heavy beach towel ... it'd be a shame if that got wet again after getting dry .... I leave it with you ........... so kind image

    Morning all.

Ain't no sunshine today again. I know I know I know..... See what I did there old people??? And for the younger people https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIdIqbv7SPo

Yesterday's logs are waving at me through the raindrops on the window so they'll have to go.

Bought a weedkiller spreader/sower thing for £2 at auction last night so I'll need to pick that up later, get it cleaned up and see if it works. image Who's bright idea was it to move to 500yds (yes yds) from a country auction??

Good to see you punkdoc. You haven't missed much in the way of Summer. It's rough when under the duvet feels like the only place you want to be. Small steps.

Can anyone recommend a decent log splitter for an aging girlie with a busted hump??? Anyone? image

    Morning all,

Good to hear from you Pdoc, keep challenging those thoughts.

Have had a walk round the garden and spent a few minutes pondering about the space created by tree felling.  I'm going to take my time about deciding what to do.  The rest of the garden is looking OK at the moment.

I'm going to pop to Ashwoods and have a stroll round for some inspiration.

The service was quite moving, for the murdered priest and those and their families who have been killed by terrorists. Also it was nice to chat to French people who I haven't seen for a bit. They were very welcoming to us 5 Anglicans who went.

It's raining! But not very hard, I hope it does enough to water the garden.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
