Morning all/afties Pat - glad you were cosy last night image

    Did your snow materialise?

Dull and cold here. You can keep the hail showers you had lily..I wouldn't mind some thunder though image It would need to warm up a bit first to create some...image

Work, work, work for me. I've repeated that because it feels like doing the work of three people just nowimage

Hope you enjoy your talk tonight chicky, and glad MrC is progressing image

Dove - remember - you're not Andy, so take it easy on the court...image

Clari - can you take those injections for migraines? I'm sure it's been mentioned before so apologies if you've said in the past. image

Will catch up with you all later. Have a grand day image

    Morning all.

Stair rods here...again. I stole an hour between showers yesterday evening and managed to cut about 1/3 of the "big" grass. I'm afraid that's the tactic I'm going to have to employ or it's not going to get cut at all. It's like patchwork (log cabin for those who know) and looks chewed but I have no option image The rain is relentess this year. I was stepping over little pools of water as I went! John Deere took it all in her stride (I luuurrrvvve her). image thankfully.

Clari I usually get a warning before I get a migraine (I get sleepy and eat weird things image) and if I can get my tabs in early then I can sometimes stop it happening. I take supermarket brand Ibuprofen Lysine. In Masda they are called migraine relief but in Painsburys they are called something ordinary. Check the credients! image

Haven't read back much so I'll go off and catch up.

Happy gardening everybody. (cept me image)

    Morning all.

No 1 daughter's birthday to-day.Her mother is down visiting from Scotland so I hope they'll both have a lovely day together.

Dry all day yesterday ( when I was at work) first thing this morning when I got u?? a shower!! I had hoped to drop the height of the mower blades and start to get " the grass" back to being " the lawn".

Dentist yesterday: "I can't save that tooth, you'll need a new crown. I've got time to do it now if you'd like " Oh, it's £200 for a crown on the NHS."

Stop right there. I'm not paying £200 for a tooth. if you can't save this crown, how much for an extraction?"

Spoke to Hubby on phone, " YOU'RE NOT WALKING ABOUT WITH A HOLE IN YOUR MOUTH"

    "I'm not paying £200"

" tsk, I'll pay for it"

" ok then, I'll call them back"

    RESULT.

Half way through the week guys, heading to the weekend.

    Devon.

    night night Pat.

Hazel, it might well have been £233.70, but I was so stunned, maybe I just blocked the actual figure out.

OH had all of his teeth crowed in India ( except wisdom teeth ) £2,500 the lot. " Exceptional work" said his UK dentist when he first saw them.

Re "70p" Went with OH to Paul Smith a few years ago, 3 shirts, £120.10 Each. "

Really Sir Paul, you needed that extra 10p per shirt? isn't £120 enough? "
