Lots of yellow rattle here. We have a patch of ground we call (pretentiously) our meadow. It is beginning to look really good now that we have got the yellow rattle established - took a few years of seed sowing, but now it is spreading by itself. It is pretty in itself, but stops the grass taking over completely and lets the flowers get established too.
Busy day ahead (following late night in the office last night) ......don't they know I have pots to water
Hosta you must be so proud, you have really helped your knees too! I try hard but it is difficult isn't it ?
Chicky you have got me thinking re our field, maybe I should get some yellow rattle!
Lesley have sent you a pm
weather looks promising today, it's been shocking here Yesterday was spent dealing with the blackcurrants, compote and creme de cassis for Christmas tomatoes leaves stripped off to "try" and hasten ripening Redcurrants should be ready today or tomorrow, it's a race between me and the birds!

Hmmm - the Met Office is promising some showers ...... well the water butts are empty - they can fill up while I'm playing tennis so that'll be good ... and then it is promising a sunny evening .... so we can have our planned picnic on the beach .... sounds good to me

Morning all.
Early one for me when not on coal face duties.
Pretty horrid out, breezy , misty and raining, but lots to do in tunnels without feeling guilty about NOT being in the garden.
Half way through the week guys.
I was talking to the store manager yesterday for the first time in ages....
" Oh my God, but you've lost a helluva lot of weight"
" yeah, 3 stone and 3 pounds"
" well done you"
Shame he's leaving soon.
Morning all/ afties Pat if you're about
I actually slept till nearly seven this morning. Why have I been waking at half/six every morning while I've been off?
chicky - work gets in the way of a lot of things doesn't it?
You'll be fading away Hosta. Have you been cutting down on food as well as drink?
