    Good evening everybody , yes depressing news , when will it all end

    Cleaned cars this morning and afternoon at allotment 

    Clari , roast potatoes my favourite ,enjoy your roast ,  we had gammon , salad/ pickles and oven roasted chips sprinkled with herds  ( potatoes from allotment )

    Clari, SGL, lots more light, not that much extra space.  Have taken some before and after photos.  I'll post them when I have a minute, it looks a bit of a mess at the moment but I'm sure it will be fine when I have decided what to do.

    just seen on news- farmers planting yellowrattle to suppress grass - what's that all about then? 

    dove, my oh also been out but home and bathed now image he's been karting with work.

    Mrs G - yellow rattle is a semi-parasitic plant, which suppresses the growth of grass in traditional hay meadows by feeding via the grass roots, so the wild flowers can get a better hold.  image  It's pretty, as well as useful.
