The local garden centre is offering half price plants today! Where are you delivery man don't you realise I need to go and inspect the bargains?? Quality control of course I've no where to put any plants! (If anyone wants an aloe vera, sea holly, fargesia cabrida short arse bamboo, yellow iris thingies...!!)

Stevie: more work, no more money, not so much as a shiny sticker. But its all for a good cause and will look awesome on my CV as I polish my halo.

Oh PP! You fool! Look after your hump.

    Good morning all, hi Patimage.

Sorry I've been absent for a while but who wants to listen to moans and groansimageimage.  I was doing things I shouldn't with my 'back' and fell backwards and hit my head a right wallopimage.  Maybe a bit more sense has been restored nowimage.  Thanks for wondering Fairy.  I should have said something earlier but the screen was giving me headaches.  Holiday is just over a week awayimage.

I've got a heck of a lot of catching up to do now.  Happy Birthday Joyce - that's what spurred me into actionimage.

Topbird I can sympathise with the dry ground and lack of rain.  I thought it would be great but maybe I'll just put up with the midges and not being able to get out to cut the grass (edit - OH to cut the grass).  At least everything is very, very green here.  Must have had more rain than you Fairyimage.

    Have a good dayimage

((BIG HUGS)) for BL, DD and all our friends in France image

Right now the phrase ' we're all in this together' really must mean something, whatever results from Brexit in the longer term.

Lesley ((hugs)) take care and try to follow orders (for a change) image

Afternoon all, Well the trees are all down.  The men made a really good job of it and tidied up well.  I've just finished doing a bit more tidying and mowed the lawn to get the last bits up.  Absolutely shattered now.  Iv'e just got to decide what to do with the extra space.

Have you any plans yet Stevie? How much extra light do you have now? Do remember to wear a t shirt if you go out in the mornings!

Delivery driver has delivered. I've just popped some pork shoulder in the oven for supper. I'm feeling really hungry despite breakfast and lunch so have decided we need a blow out proper roast with all the trimmings. Many many roast potatoes and yorkshire puds!

Oh dear, what's happened in France? We've come back from 5th Anniversary lunch in a pretty local town, jam packed with English and Dutch tourists. Good lunch. Off to Google to find out.

Oh BL - I hope you haven't seen the news. It's too depressing for words. I've had the radio on all day and it's bad enough hearing it on there.

    Just hellish  image

Rain back on here - we've had quite a lot Lesley. I was hopeful it would be half decent while I was off. Oh well - I've got quite a bit done anyway.

I hope you're ok. You really shouldn't be swinging from the chandeliers at your age you know....image image

I'll have a catch up while I contemplate making some dinner. Really can't be bothered image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
