Fairy, thanks. I am " doing ok", ie better than a few weeks ago. I think this makes the odd sleepness night all the more annoying. No logic, no patter, no obvious triggers, just annoying.
Survived IKEA, it wasn't too bad for 5pm on a Friday. Ate dinner last night and promptly fell asleep on the sofa.
No gardening this morning due to the rain. Have got a candle called 'a garden hideaway' burning though.
Just waiting for the rain to stop and then we will be taking the Harley to the garage for an MOT. I'm not sure what the rest of today holds, I'm in one of those moods where my body feels tired but my mind isn't and can think of a hundred and one things I should be doing.
Quite muggy here this morning. Sun is trying so hard to push it's way through the clouds.
Pdoc sorry to hear you're still having troubles with NDN hope all gets sorted soon. Hope also you feel better soon, big hugs. Hope to see you back here very soon. Take care x
Had a Nanna day yesterday, great fun.
You're right Lilyp, is was very hot this time last year, little poppet had just been born. Dil was sooo hot she borrowed a couple of our fans.
Hope all poorly, achy peeps are fully recovered.
Sorry to hear your car can't be mended RB, hope you're feeling much better tho.
H*******k for me today, washing almost ready to go on line. Then may sit in the garden ......weather permitting!
Hope it settles for you. I know what you mean about it being worse when you get a bad night after a lot of decent ones. I got so used to rubbish sleep that I felt weird when I got a good night!
Intended trying to get out tomorrow as last night it was looking marginally better for Glen Lyon. This morning it's poor again. It could change several times again though. Pretty much the same everywhere unfortunately so it's a case of trying to find a decent prospect. Should have gone out somewhere yesterday after work when it was good...tennis got in the way....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy - when I said the Federer result was wrong I meant for me personally - love watching Roger
You're right that the best player won though. Roger was looking very tired at the end and Raonic played some simply brilliant shots. I suspect he will give Andy a run for his money tomorrow if nerves don't get to him.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning all, evening Pat, cloudy but mild here today, no tennis, no telly! get lots more done! Over to MILs today with OH to secure her garden after an unwanted scumbag wandered through her garden looking for "someone's house" she's 82 and we have decided to take it in hand and make it safe and pretty for her. It will also stop her builder son, dumping his debris in her garden for convenience
I've got twenty rubble sacks, a carboot load of plants, compost, garden gloves, just need a cattle prod to get hubby out of bed as Harrie the cats acupuncture doesn't seem to be working
Will read back when the last drips of daylight have faded!
Morning all. Raining again here *sigh* so I shall have to get on with the backlog of little jobs which are waiting. Including the i*****g. Personally I prefer watching doubles tennis. I really admire the skill of singles, but doubles is such fun, and so incredibly fast too. Heather Watson always seems to have a huge grin in her mixed doubles matches so presumably she enjoys playing as much as I enjoy watching...Punkdoc, if you're looking in - hope your doctor is a real help, and, as others have said, don't hesitate to keep the police updated. Nobody should be able to get away with making another person's life a misery. Hope for better sleep tonight, Hosta...Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Funerals - photos - that is dreadful Hosta - Isuspect they've been doing it in the USA for some time though.
We went to see The Proclaimers in concert a few months ago. Dark auditorium - lots of little bright screens all over the place taking pictures / video / Facebooking / Instagramming etc etc - totally and utterly distracting - put me right off paying the sort of money you have to part with to go to these events.
It's called courtesy and respect - some people have no idea of the meaning of these words.
Why do people feel the need to shoot a really cr*p video of a sporting event instead of just soaking up the atmosphere and actually enjoying the event?
Some people seem to live life through a screen....
Rant over.

I know I'm not the biggest fan of the omnipresence of mobile phones, but this morning has just takent he biscuit.
A friend of a friend has posted photos of a funeral , including what seems to a queue to take photos of the coffin.
Have some flippin' dignity for goodness sake.
The other was video someone took from an open window of some guys stealing a bike from a back garden.
"SHOUT OUT THE WINDOW AT THEM, OR , GUESS WHAT, USE YOUR PHONE TO CALL THE POLICE"
I despair.
