Punk. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Do hope things improve very quickly. Like so many I wish there was something constructive we could do to help. please say if there is.  We all need you here so please don't be away too long xx

Fairy wasn't the rain horrendous last night? Roses all smashed to bits, slugs taking over

    have a good day everyone

Hi everyone, and Punkdoc in particular. If our thoughts and good wishes work, you should be feeling a bit better soon.

I had a good trip to town but had trouble shaking Hubby off so that I could get him a birthday card for Monday (And a secret gift beyond the Hover thingie he bought ostensibly for my birthday last month)image. I'm sure he and the kids will have fun with  it when they come down for the day.

I'm feeling a bit down with my iPad sketching. It's a pain in the b...t. Maybe when son comes down he'll sort out some of my problems. I hate to admit I've made a mistake in requesting one for my birthday, but I must admit it can't compare with my little 4x zero brushes. Ho hum,  We live and learn - well some of us do, anyway.

Very best wishes P'doc. I hope the medics can help you to start feeling better soon, and I also hope something can be done re NDN. Horrible situation to be in.

I had noticed you hadn't been around for the last couple of days - we do miss you you knowimage Come back for a chat or just a look round soon image

    Morning all.

Hugs for Punkdoc. You really need to keep the police up to speed with these developments.

Very misty, drizzly and not at all summer like here.

Bamboo canes to be purchased then sort out tomatoes in tunnel.

Did anyone watch Hampton Court Flower Show last night? Too many " back stories " for me, as usual and not enough gardens / plants.

Punkdoc - make sure the police are informed and also your doctor knows why you are stressed and ill.  Maybe also consult with the Citizens Advice Bureau?

GWRS - will you use you bus pass much?  Our local service doesn't go where I need to go or even when I need to go anywhere so utterly useless.  It assumes we want to go to school or the station so nowhere near bank, post office, shops, services....  Trains are good though, and cheap.

Hosta - I had Hampton Court on TV last night but was distracted by a hamamelis catalogue...   Will watch it again later with my finger on the FF button.

Clari - has the choke button found a home?  What does it belong to?

Pat - mission accomplished?  Early days for i-pad sketching so don't give up.

IKEA - good for cotton bedding and tall storage jars for linguine but I'm never again buying any of their furniture.

It's a middling sort of day here.  Bits of sun, lots of cloud but dry.  Damp bit of attic now liberated and airing.  I have to spend today gathering plants in pots together for easy watering, packing a holiday bag for the dogs, a holiday kitchen/picnic bag for us and some clothes then do a quick clean round and a pedicure.  OH and I are off to the Vendée for a week.  Possum is working her first proper holiday job so staying here with Pusscat.

I hope it's dry where you all are.   Did that garden sell plants or just lunches and cake?

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

They sold a few plants Obelixx - but I don't think any of us succumbed. Mainly because Wonky brought a boot full of plants she had grown from seed (and excellent quality plants they were too) which we split between us, and Dove had a boot full for Wonky - including donations from Hosta.

I think we could set up a first rate Forkers' Plant Stall... image

Hi Archie, sorry to hear about Mrs Archie. Hope things will improve for her now. The garden will still be there - even if it's a bit more jungly than you intended... image

I may have to visit Ikea at some point too...would really rather rip my liver out with a rusty hook, but it's that or keep fixing a throw to the window with gaffer tape as a curtain! image

Not sure I can cope  with the tennis! Rog and Raonic is shaping up to be a cracker - as expected.

Hosta - nut had a load of bamboo going in the shredder - she could have set you some image

Have to agree about Hampton Court. I had it on in the background. Find these shows increasingly... uninteresting. Perhaps it's just me...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
