Thanks @tui34.   It's done as 12 segments of a circle with mirrored fabric pieces which were a bit of a puzzle to work out and then a border.

@Ergates I've shown your post box topper photos to knitting friends here and they love them but think British knitters are clearly mad.

@Valley I don't knit so can't help but I love the colour of his jacket.

Valley Gardener .Your painting is lovely . I wish I could paint like that .I have knitted a lot of bears   over the years wouldn’t worry about his face .I think it’s a small problem and could be put right with a bit more stuffing .I wouldn’t do anything with him he is cute .

  • @Rubee thankyou for your comments. I loved your last one,it reminded me of the sea.

I've moved his arms 4 times and his legs twice,as he looked like Captain Darling from Black Adder, then my OH said it looked liked Mr Beans bear! I think the next one will be much bigger with clip on legs and arms. I would need to look on You Tube to find out how to insert them as I don't have a clue.
@Obelixx Stunning work, you always find something really different to tackle.

I love the yellow birds @Valley Gardener, and your Teddy has great character. All teddy bears are perfect  :)
Great hoodie, lovely colour, and the bobble hat gives him a rakish air.

That's kind of you @Valley Gardener.   I can't draw, sketch or paint or even knit or crochet (tried and it's not for me) but I can mess about with fabrics.

I love your bear @Valley Gardener . His face has character :)
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • There is nothing wrong with his face @Valley Gardener. He's a very handsome boy and he's smirking because he knows it! 😍 I love everything about him. Even that his hat squashes his ear a bit like a real person.
I was visiting my ex SIL today and she was showing me stuff she's done for craft fairs. She's very talented with a paintbrush. A bit twee for me but sells well apparently. She's now organising her own craft fair in her local hall. She's a hoot!

@Valley Gardener Your bird painting is beautiful. As for Teddy don't change a thing about him that's his character. Some child will love him.
