I agree Sanjy. Her colour choices are a bit dubious (That's me being tactful!).

I once went out on the town wearing a remnant I'd bought that afternoon. It was held on with nothing more than what I could manage with the hotel sewing kit and the elastic waistband in my skirt! image Luckily it wasn't windy! It had to have a "shawl collar" to hide the selvedge! image

nothing wrong with that pp image i used to love it when i was younger and you could buy remnant for such a cheap price, now the price is ridiculous, when making bunting etc i use a duvet cover, it's flippin cheaper than buying the actual material ^^

Edd, you were supposed to be catching up on your sleep for Fathers Day. Why are you still awake at 3.37am? image

I like sewing but it does take a long time and I don't have a lot because of gardening and walking the dogs,my boysimage

Sounds a great idea, Doghouse Riley.  image

Love your painting, by the way.  You're very talented.

Really like the two toned dress with the fluted bottom Pat.

Thanks Joyce. I've posted the photo of the new dresses to the mother and she's really pleased with them.(a bit of a relief because I didn't show her the striped one before I made it).
