    I think I might have had a good idea🤔
At Christmas, I always get given one or two boxes of ferrero rocher. I do my duty and eat them, but can never bring myself to throw away the box. I have a collection!
I was thinking that the insert would make great little pots to mix paint and you could close the lid to keep the paint fresh for a while.
I'm going to give it a go.

Not convinced they're air tight enough to keep paint fresh very long.   I use those boxes to store sewing bits and pieces like bits of ribbon, beads, fasteners...   Being clear plastic I can see what's in them very easily.

I've even been known to use them to pack home-made chocolate truffles I'm giving as gifts or just sharing with friends.

  • I keep those tiny squeeze pots of paint in them,as you say they look much too useful to throw in recycling.

I find old hummus pots do well for paints, as the lids are tight fitting.

I don't need to keep the paint very long. Just overnight usually.
Tried mixing some paint. Just the right size. I'll see what what's left over looks like tomorrow.

I used to keep earrings in them! My collection has grown, they are now in a multi section lidded box from Screwfix or Wickes. No expense spared!
  • @Ergates.  Love it! Who needs a fancy jewellery box from Samuels?😁

The tin foil mince pie tins can be shaped into all sorts... Or may be the wire from fizz corks? Twisted into elegant shapes... :D

    That'd do fine I'd say😊
